Participation in the RRB 2022 International Congress

Coline Perdrier introduced her thesis work at the RRB 2022 conference (Renewable Resources and Biorefineries) held in Bruges, Belgium, with a poster entitled "Impact of specific feeding rate of propionic acid on the structure (especially %HV) and properties of microbial P(3HB-co-3HV) copolymer”. This was an opportunity to make the LOOP4PACK project internationally known and to discover other teams working on microbial PHAs (from their biosynthesis to their use). [...]

The 5th scientific deliverable on the pretreatment of McCain co-products is available

The 4th scientific deliverable of the project is finished!

The partners of the LOOP4PACK project are pleased to announce that the D4.5 deliverable, “1st LCA coupled with valorization chain design and economic study”, is finished the results were presented to all the partners on 14/02/2022 and the final document was sent to all partners on the 04/04/2022. 2nd annual meeting of the project

All the partners finally met face to face on February 14 and 15, 2022 in Toulouse on the INSA site for the 2nd annual meeting. Welcome to Estelle Doineau

Estelle Doineau joined the LOOP4PACK project as a post-doctoral fellow at UMR IATE in November 2021. She took the opportunity to be part of this project, from the synthesis of PHAs to the development of eco-responsible materials in the packaging application, to strengthen her skills and knowledge in this very rich field. LOOP4PACK present at ISBP 2022

On the occasion of the 18th International Symposium on Biopolymers (ISBP) in Sion (Switzerland), Mattéo Castiello – TBI – presented his study on the “PHA production by microbial consortia selected in continuous cultures: Modeling the effect of phosphorus limitation and nitrogen deficiency". It was also an opportunity to share and discuss with the scientific community involved in the various biopolymer production sectors.
